Dozier moderated a discussion on the consequences of conflict at the 2018 Pearson Global Forum at the University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Arts on October 5th 2018, in Chicago. Panelists included: Federico Borello, Executive Director, Center for Civilians in Conflict; Ciarán Donnelly, Senior Vice President, International Programs, International Rescue Committee; Anne C. Richard, Former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration; Michelle Rempel, Canadian Member of Parliament.

Dozier interviewed HRH Prince Mired bin Ra’ad al-Hussein of Jordan at the Middle East Institute Conference on the growing threat of landmines, IEDs, and other explosives in the Middle East in Washington, D.C., on September 13, 2018. Dozier moderated a one-on-one conversation with Prince Mired as part of the luncheon keynote with audience questions focused on Jordan’s role in demining as well as the international humanitarian stabilization approach.

Strategy guiding the US-led military mission in Afghanistan – now in its seventeenth year – remains essentially the same, and a political resolution remains out of sight. In Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, a man responsible for hundreds of American deaths early in the war, has returned to center stage as a self- professed political reformer and fervent nationalist. In short, “victory” in both Afghanistan and Iraq remains as hard to define and illusive as ever. What would “winning” these wars look like now?

Dozier moderated a discussion on “Defending a Nation Against Cyber Attacks” at CyCon 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia, on June 1, 2018. It was the 10th International Conference on Cyber Conflict, organized by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence.

Panelists included: Rod Beckstrom, Founder and CEO of BECKSTROM,Inc.; Koen Gijsbers, Former General Manager of Natio Communications and Information Agency; and Ambassador Sorin Ducaru, Senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, and Former  Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, NATO.

Dozier spoke to the audience about covering the White House and national security, as well as telling her own story of injury while covering the Iraq war, at the University of Lahore International Conference On Threats To Security In The 21st Century, on May 5, 2018, in Lahore, Pakistan.

Dozier moderated a panel on March 9, 2018, on Transatlantic Defense, with an introduction by Amb. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Ambassador, U.S. Mission to NATO. Panelists included: Mr. Marc Allen, President, Boeing International; Nr. Norbert Roettgen, Head, Foreign Affairs Committee, German Bundestag; Ms. Diana Janse, Foreign Policy Advisor, Moderate Party, Sweden; and The Hon. Michael Turner, Representative, U.S. House of Representatives.

Dozier moderated at the Atlantic Dialogues 2017, Africa in the Atlantic: Time for Action, in Marrakesh, Morocco. Panelists discussing Security in the Sahel and Transatlantic Implications, included: Youssef Amrani, Head of Mission, Royal Cabinet, Kingdom of Morocco; Tewolde Gebremeskel Redda, Director of peace and security division, Intergovernmental Authority on Development;  General (Retired) Nick Parker, Senior Associate Fellow, RUSI; and Kurt Volker, Executive Director, McCain Institute for International Leadership.

Dozier spoke about trauma, injury and resiliency to a group of mostly women veterans at a Melwood retreat on the Eastern Shore, Maryland on October 20, 2017.
